Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based web applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and support deployment on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework
• Working knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
