Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support a broader legacy modernization initiative, the remote Senior Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions, focusing on both backend and frontend systems while collaborating with Agile teams and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain production-quality backend and frontend components, including APIs and user interfaces
• Refactor legacy Java applications into Spring Boot services and support the decomposition of monolithic systems
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions while collaborating with DevOps teams on deployment and operational support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with proficiency in testing frameworks like JUnit
• Working knowledge of Angular (v2+) and TypeScript for front-end integration
• Relational database skills with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including SQL and schema design
