Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Owning full stack delivery, the full-time Senior Full Stack Engineer will support a federal government client in modernizing critical mission systems for DHS ICE, focusing on translating complex legacy system behavior into clean, scalable software in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications to modernize DHS ICE systems
• Analyze legacy systems to identify core functionality and translate operational requirements into modern application designs
• Develop backend services and user-facing components using modern technologies while supporting the full SDLC

Required qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience
• Strong experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot, along with front-end technologies like JavaScript and React
• Experience working in complex or enterprise system environments, including designing and implementing RESTful APIs
