Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support the mission of building resilient communities, the full-time Senior Full-Stack Engineer will implement features using TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, working remotely in a hybrid environment while collaborating with government users on climate adaptation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive projects from ambiguity to delivery, breaking down complexity and making smart tradeoffs
• Own features from database modeling to UI, ensuring continuous shipping of new capabilities that matter
• Shape engineering culture by mentoring teammates and refining processes and tech stack

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on building and shipping user-dependent features
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with full-stack fluency across backend and frontend
• Strong SQL skills and database design instincts
• Experience in leading by example through mentorship and sound technical decision-making
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and developer tooling to enhance team shipping processes
