Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer will build and iterate on customer-facing features, improve team development practices, and mentor engineers while utilizing Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Build and iterate on features in banking, tax automation, and expense tracking across the full stack
• Raise the technical bar through code reviews and establishing best practices in the codebase
• Act as a technical mentor, helping engineers grow through collaboration and constructive feedback

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable framework, and proficiency in React/TypeScript
• Experience working with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner, or similar)
• A track record of collaboration across multiple teams and functions
• High standards for code quality and a commitment to continuous improvement
