Senior Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal government client in modernizing critical mission systems for DHS ICE, the full-time remote Senior Full Stack Engineer will own full stack delivery, focusing on translating complex legacy system behavior into clean, scalable software.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting the modernization of DHS ICE systems
- Analyze legacy systems and workflows to identify core functionality and streamline processes
- Translate operational requirements into scalable, modern application designs and develop backend services and APIs
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience
- Strong experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
