Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance event logging capabilities, the full-time Senior Full Stack Engineer will leverage expertise in both frontend and backend development to build products and tooling that improve the user activity logging experience at Airbnb, collaborating closely with partner teams to identify and implement solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with partner teams to understand their challenges and prototype solutions for logging products
• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable production code while contributing to project reviews and documentation
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in logging and observability to drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of industry engineering experience
• Experience in building internal infrastructure, especially in event logging and observability
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
• Expertise in one or more backend/server languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C++) and experience with high-traffic backend services
• Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
