Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support a federal government client in modernizing critical mission systems for DHS ICE, the full-time remote Senior Full Stack Engineer will own full stack delivery, focusing on translating complex legacy system behavior into clean, scalable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications to support the modernization of DHS ICE systems
• Analyze legacy systems and workflows to identify core functionality and translate operational requirements into modern application designs
• Develop backend services, APIs, and user-facing components while supporting the full software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience, particularly with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
• Strong experience in complex or enterprise system environments and Agile delivery methodologies
