Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a remote, full-time position to enhance Circle Discover by building intuitive and high-converting purchasing experiences, maintaining applications with a Ruby on Rails backend and React/Next.js front-ends, and collaborating closely with design and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build polished purchasing experiences that facilitate the discovery of digital memberships, courses, and content
- Work autonomously on application development and maintenance while implementing Next.js best practices
- Proactively improve code quality, processes, and architecture, collaborating with designers and leaders throughout feature design
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer on complex web applications
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/Postgresql, ReactJS, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind
- Experience working in a fully distributed remote team environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous setting while embracing personal accountability
- Proficiency in English at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5
