Senior Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on designing, building, and maintaining large-scale APIs for enterprise-level applications, particularly in modernizing legacy systems for the Department of Homeland Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and architecture of robust, scalable APIs for large enterprise-level applications
- Integrate and operate CI/CD pipelines used for building and releasing code and container images
- Assess and refactor deprecated code bases, implementing best practices for modernization and performance improvement
Required Qualifications
- Must have US citizenship and the ability to pass a Public Trust investigation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 10 years of general work experience, with 8+ years in Java and strong experience in legacy system modernization
- 5+ years developing responsive web apps using React, Redux, and modern JavaScript
- Strong background in API development, including 5+ years building RESTful microservices and service-oriented architectures
