Senior Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work remotely from Utah, this full-time position will focus on enhancing a practice management platform by collaborating with cross-functional teams, building user-facing experiences in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, and designing REST API endpoints and microservices using Python or Java.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and validate new features
- Design and implement user-facing experiences and backend services while maintaining code quality
- Own builds and deployments, and identify and resolve bugs and technical debt across the stack
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with frontend and backend exposure
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React or a similar framework
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, or Kotlin) and familiarity with SQL and RESTful API design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and modern development tools like TypeScript and Git
