Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the realtime and voice layer end to end, the full-time Senior Full Stack Engineer will build product features across React/TypeScript front ends, Scala and Python services, and cloud infrastructure while working remotely as an independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the voice channel, including telephony and CPaaS integrations, and ensure quality and latency budgets are met
• Develop product features across the stack, focusing on web chat front ends, backend services, and cloud infrastructure
• Implement safety and compliance measures for enterprise partners, including content filtering and PII redaction

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with senior-level ownership of production systems
• Hands-on experience with realtime systems, such as voice applications or low-latency products
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript) and backend languages (Scala or Python)
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP or AWS
