Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Full Stack Java Developer, the ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and implement scalable software solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs, utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive system design and architecture decisions for scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular, and PostgreSQL
• Mentor developers, manage tasks, and ensure timely delivery while participating in the full software lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
• Proficient in Java (17+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and frontend frameworks (React or Angular)
• Experience mentoring developers and leading engineering teams
• Ability to design and work with scalable, distributed systems
