Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and build internal software tools for utility-scale solar project design, working remotely and leading the architecture and development of applications from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of a new internal design platform, collaborating with an external architect consultant
• Design and build a user interface for engineers to configure designs and integrate various terrain and topographic data into the workflow
• Establish development practices, including version control, testing strategies, and documentation, while mentoring team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a proven track record of shipping production applications
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one of C# or C++
• 3+ years of experience designing and building desktop or web application UIs with a modern framework
• Advanced understanding of software architecture and the ability to evaluate and select architectural approaches independently
