Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of healthcare data products, the full-time Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for technical decision-making, design, and development across the CostCheck applications, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Angular, and React in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build features end-to-end, including database schema, REST APIs, and web applications
• Maintain high standards for developer experience and champion technical excellence through code reviews and mentorship
• Contribute to the architecture and roadmap of both CostCheck and ShortageCheck platforms, ensuring cohesive development across products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working across the stack
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including REST API design and testing
• Strong skills in Hibernate/JPA and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query tuning
• Experience with modern web frameworks and integrating UIs with RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and a thoughtful perspective on their application in development
