Senior Fullstack Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a backend-leaning Senior Fullstack Developer for a full-time remote position, responsible for building and integrating capabilities for an Uncrewed Surface Vessel autonomy platform, focusing on Python networking, backend service development, and real-time data movement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver integrated concept demonstrations for USV workflows, ensuring realistic telemetry and state transitions
• Develop Python services and maintain real-time interfaces, including REST APIs and WebSockets, for backend integration
• Contribute to C++ component integration and support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong experience in Python for backend services and networking
• Knowledge of backend system design and real-time integration patterns such as WebSockets and REST
• Working knowledge of C++ for software integration and performance-sensitive components
• Experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes
