Senior Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary

As a founding engineer in the New Ventures team, the full-time remote Senior Fullstack Engineer will contribute to backend development, architecture, and business strategy to address critical operator needs and launch scalable MVPs.

Key responsibilities

• Independently contribute to backend development and collaborate closely with the Staff engineer to execute the roadmap
• Design and implement key features and components for the New Venture while navigating diverse codebases to ensure high-quality code delivery
• Work with New Ventures Leads to successfully launch MVPs and facilitate their adoption by a broad customer base

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java
• Experience in 0 to 1 builds and building complex, large-scale distributed systems in production environments
• Strong background in distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and resilient code
• A track record of significant technical impact within a team
