Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing healthcare technology startup, the full-time Senior Fullstack Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain applications using React and Node.js, develop backend services in AWS, and integrate AI-enabled features while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity with local meetups in Washington, D.C.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Develop and scale backend services and APIs leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teammates in an agile startup environment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a fullstack role
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js using TypeScript
• Proven experience deploying and scaling applications in AWS
• Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated passion for AI-native development, with experience shipping AI-driven features into real production environments
