Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to design and implement architectural solutions for the New Products Team in a full-time remote capacity, focusing on developing high-performance backend services and intuitive frontend experiences to enhance school safety and management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve new products while optimizing backend services in Node/Go
• Create data-rich frontend experiences using React and implement gRPC and REST APIs for real-time data access
• Mentor developers and participate in architecture discussions and code reviews to foster a collaborative engineering culture

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in leading complex, large-scale software features
• Strong expertise in Node/Go and building high-quality React applications with TypeScript
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices that handle high throughput
• Proficiency with SQL databases, including query optimization and analytics workloads
• Familiarity with cloud services (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
