Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support Vanta's growth, the full-time Senior Fullstack Software Engineer will own the architecture and rollout strategy for critical platform services, mentor engineers, and drive complex projects across the technical stack in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the architecture and rollout strategy for critical platform services from initial design through large-scale rollout
- Set technical standards for designing, publishing, and maintaining customer-facing APIs, focusing on security and reliability
- Mentor engineers and partner with management to enhance team health and culture
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of backend development experience with reliable, scalable systems
- Proven experience designing and shipping external or public product APIs
- Fluency in service boundaries and system design, with data-layer knowledge
- Experience with modern frontend technologies, particularly React
- Strong written communication skills and a track record of mentoring others
