Senior Functional Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT teams remotely to document and manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Agile requirements management activities and analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and formal specifications
• Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects, including backlog refinement and change control

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or a related scientific/technical discipline, with ten years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in requirements elaboration and acceptance criteria development
• Expertise with Jira tools and experience in an Agile environment
• Experience working for a Federal Health Agency is strongly preferred
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
