Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements in an ALM tool, perform Agile requirement management activities, and support project execution in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform analysis of user needs to determine functional and technical requirements
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while supporting Agile methodology and ensuring successful completion of Sprints
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting independent research and excellent analytical skills
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
