Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, and perform Agile requirement management activities for a product team.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements and manage them using JIRA
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies during project execution
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with a preference for experience in large Agile projects
- Strong expertise in JIRA tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working for a Federal Health Agency or knowledge of healthcare billing and claims processing applications is desirable
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
