Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, and manage Agile requirement activities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and facilitate sessions to gather and analyze user needs
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects while developing and maintaining project/product backlogs
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting independent research and resolving complex questions
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
