Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document and manage requirements using Agile methodologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements for software development
- Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, specifically JIRA, and conduct backlog refinement sessions
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while facilitating communication between development teams and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- Strong expertise in JIRA and experience with large Agile software development projects
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
- Experience working in a Federal Health Agency or knowledge of healthcare billing and claims processing applications is desired
