Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing Agile methodologies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
- Coordinate with Systems Engineers and stakeholders to assess the impact of requirements on technical solutions and project outcomes
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Advanced experience with JIRA tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
