Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs projects, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and perform Agile requirement management activities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements for software development teams
- Manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, specifically JIRA, and facilitate Agile processes
- Conduct user interviews and develop business process models to ensure comprehensive understanding of functional and technical requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Strong expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
- Desired experience includes familiarity with VA's Veterans Independence Program and healthcare billing applications
