Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage an ALM tool, and perform Agile requirement management activities in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements for software development
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool, including JIRA, and facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and removing impediments to ensure successful Sprint completion
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with additional experience considered in lieu of education
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
