Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile activities, and support project execution in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while establishing strong relationships with product and business owners
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise in using JIRA for requirements management and Agile project execution
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably within a Federal Health Agency
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
