Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile processes, and mentor junior analysts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and specifications
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects while supporting Agile methodologies and backlog refinement
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development, with additional experience substitutable for education
- Strong background in Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
