Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development, collaborate with stakeholders, and perform Agile requirement management activities in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to analyze user needs and develop functional specifications
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting independent research and resolving complex questions
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
