Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development, collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, and manage Agile requirement activities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
- Facilitate communication among business users, IT, and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools for requirements management and Agile project tracking
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably in large software development or data integration projects
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
