Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile processes, and support project execution in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements
- Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, specifically JIRA, and perform Agile requirement management activities
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while facilitating backlog refinement sessions and ensuring successful project delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
