Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document and manage requirements while working remotely within the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool and perform Agile requirement management activities
- Conduct user interviews and develop business process models to gather and document functional, technical, and non-technical requirements
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impacts on technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
