Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, manage Agile processes, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users and IT to document and manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while establishing strong relationships with product and business owners
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong analytical skills and advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
