Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing Agile methodologies in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture of business requirements and manage them in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and risk management for various projects
Required qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
