Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile processes, and facilitate user interviews in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and manage project backlogs, ensuring alignment with product and business goals
- Lead and mentor junior analysts while establishing strong relationships with stakeholders to support development teams
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development, with an emphasis on Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise in using JIRA for requirements management and project tracking
- Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
