Senior Fund Accountant

Job Summary

To support the accounting and finance functions of various entities, the full-time Senior Fund Accountant will oversee financial reporting, collaborate with external fund administrators, and drive process improvements in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory, reporting, and operational accounting functions while enhancing controls and maintaining cross-functional relationships
• Collaborate with a global team to review financial reporting packages and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve accounting and operational activities

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of accounting experience in public accounting or investment management
• Strong understanding of private equity and/or real estate fund structures and partnership accounting
• Working knowledge of investment company accounting under ASC 946
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with account reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues and drive resolution
