Job Summary
Leading fund accounting operations, the full-time Senior Fund Accountant will manage financial reporting, tax compliance, and reconciliations while mentoring junior team members in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and maintain accuracy in financial statements, tax compliance, and treasury management across multiple asset classes
- Own and oversee daily and monthly reconciliations between internal records and external service providers
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within the fund accounting function
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hedge fund, public accounting for asset management, or fund administration
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting in investment management
- Experience with enterprise-level accounting software (e.g., VPM, Geneva, Arcesium)
- Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
