Senior Fund Accountant

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end fund operations for complex private market funds, the full-time Senior Fund Accountant will manage financial accounting, capital calls, investor reporting, and collaborate with product and engineering teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund operations, including financial accounting and cash management for a portfolio of complex funds
• Review and provide feedback on the work of other fund accountants to enhance the quality of outputs
• Interpret partnership agreements and prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, serving as the primary contact for fund audits

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fund administration for private equity and/or venture capital funds
• Deep knowledge of private markets fund accounting, including allocations and management fees
• Experience with fund accounting platforms and comfort in learning new systems
• Ability to read and apply fund legal documents, such as limited partnership agreements
• Strong analytical skills and experience in a regulated industry
