Job Summary

Seeking a highly technical and creative Senior Gameplay Designer specializing in Combat & AI, this full-time remote position will design and implement AI characters and core systems for a new multiplayer action game while collaborating with a cross-discipline team to enhance gameplay experience.

Key responsibilities

• Actively contribute to building AI enemies, player objectives, and core systems for future AI development
• Create and balance player items that enhance gameplay and provide meaningful upgrades
• Review and provide feedback on content from multiple disciplines to ensure game feel and readability

Required qualifications

• Intuitive understanding of action game mechanics and player engagement
• Strong technical scripting ability and rapid prototyping skills across multiple disciplines
• Experience in combat animation and its impact on game balance and readability
• Proven ability to lead feature direction while fostering collaboration within teams
• Understanding of PvP game design and the ability to create engaging player experiences
