Senior GCP Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing IT Engineering team, the full-time Senior GCP Cloud Platform Engineer will lead the transition to a fully automated CI/CD lifecycle in Azure DevOps, standardize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, and provide technical mentorship while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transition from manual infrastructure management to a fully automated CI/CD lifecycle in Azure DevOps
• Own the Terraform and Ansible ecosystem to ensure changes are made through code, reducing manual tweaks
• Act as the senior voice with the engineering team to establish standards and guide decisions on adopting new tools

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Platform Operations
• Hands-on experience managing Google Cloud (GCP) environments, specifically Shared VPCs and IAM hierarchies
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Proven experience building and managing automated release flows in Azure DevOps
• High proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
