Senior GCP Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Senior GCP Platform Engineer is a full-time position responsible for designing, implementing, and managing GCP infrastructure, collaborating with teams to ensure platform robustness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage GCP infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking services
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automation of infrastructure provisioning
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot platform issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on GCP
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure on GCP
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go, and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
