Senior GCP Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Senior GCP Platform Engineer in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and scalable platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage GCP infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot platform issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with a minimum of 2 years focused on GCP
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure on GCP
- In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
