Senior General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with US GAAP; perform reconciliations and ensure balance sheet integrity
• Manage sales tax reporting and filings in coordination with external advisors while ensuring audit readiness
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare monthly analytical reports to support executive decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant US accounting experience with a strong grasp of US GAAP
• Proven expertise in month-end close and balance sheet ownership
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is a plus
• Experience working in an ERP system; Dynamics/Navision experience is a plus
