Senior General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

Supervising a GL Accountant and managing various accounting functions, the full-time Senior General Ledger Accountant will oversee accrued expenses, AP aging, contractor payments, and fixed assets while supporting the monthly close process and audit compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain accrual workbooks, prepare monthly journal entries, and reconcile accrued expense accounts
• Manage the monthly AP aging review and resolve aged AP items in collaboration with the AP Specialist
• Process Deel contractor invoices and maintain related accrual workbooks and journal entries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and accrual accounting
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred, but not required
