Senior Genetic Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Genetic Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight in the coordination of complex and escalated cases
• Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of test orders and laboratory reports
• Mentor and support junior genetic counselors and trainees, and lead the development of new testing protocols

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or equivalent
• Board-certified Genetic Counselor
• Significant experience (5+ years) in clinical and laboratory genetics
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without restrictions
• Onsite training and occasional meetings may be required; remote work available for experienced candidates
