Job Summary
Supporting genetic counselors and healthcare teams in delivering high-quality services, the full-time remote Senior Genetic Counselor Assistant will manage patient records, assist with family history assessments, conduct patient intake interviews, and organize clinical information while providing educational resources to patients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient interviews and document detailed family history to assist genetic counselors
- Assist genetic counselors during consultations by providing relevant medical information and emotional support to patients
- Prepare educational materials related to genetic conditions and respond to patient inquiries regarding genetic testing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Biology, or a related field
- Certification as a Genetic Counselor Assistant or relevant experience preferred
