Senior GeoSCADA Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior GeoSCADA Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for industrial automation processes, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to meet system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA systems using various software suites, including InTouch and AVEVA/Wonderware Historian
• Integrate SCADA systems with historians for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting
• Conduct system testing and commissioning, ensuring accurate functionality and addressing any issues that arise

Required qualifications

• Experience with SCADA software configuration and programming
• Familiarity with industrial automation technologies and systems integration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or VBScript
• Background in conducting system upgrades and modifications
• Ability to troubleshoot SCADA software and related components like PLCs
