Senior Geospatial Analyst

Job Summary

To support geospatial projects for state and federal clients, the full-time Senior Geospatial Analyst will focus on sensor calibration, data processing, and quality assurance in a remote or onsite capacity in Tampa, FL or Fairfax, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on data post-acquisition and validate processed LiDAR datasets for accuracy
• Conduct airborne and mobile trajectory processing, including calibration and alignment of LiDAR data
• Create and manipulate digital mapping products and databases using various software platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field
• Experience in LiDAR data extraction and swath alignment
• In-depth knowledge of ESRI's software and experience with Terrascan
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
